The Instacollage installations began as a series of digital collages that were made using my own camera phone photos as initial source material. I then manipulated them in various ways using smart phone editing apps designed for use with social media marketing on sites such as Instagram.

This initial series began a long inquiry into digital and physical waste, digital collage, installation using projection, and ultimately systems theory and ecological themes.
